ation of the exhibition
For several months we have been intensively preparing the campaign WOMEN'S RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS. In cooperation with Norwegian Grants, we have produced 4 video clips accompanied by photographs, which we will be communicating for the next 4 years in primary and secondary school education, as well as in online communication. The main message is to spread awareness among the general public on gender inequality and gender equality. Slovakia is still a country where the position of women and men in society is influenced by gender stereotypes, which create conditions for unequal position of women in society. A consequence and cause of this situation is the existence of violence against women, which is the most serious violation of women's human rights. We will present the entire campaign tomorrow, 16 June 2022, at 9:00 am in the square in Martin at the Janosik Druzhina statue. All of you are warmly welcome.
The Women's Rights are Human Rights project is supported by the Domestic and Gender-Based Violence Programme co-funded by Norway Grants and the State Budget of the Slovak Republic.
Working together towards a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.
